The
Republic Commando Costume Helmet
This
was my first try at making a full helmet. I sculpted it
in sculpey, casted it in plastic, sanded it smooth, and
casted it in plastic again.
In
progress: I would like the visor to light up in blue a little
more, but I do not want to blind the wearer either. I
am completely reworking my body armor.
Features:
• Made in strong impact resistant polyurethane plastic
(similar to a football helmet)
• Average thickness: about 1/4"
• Approx. total weight: Under 2.5 pounds
